TASTING NOTES
It has a fresh and delicate aroma of spices and dried fruit acquired from aging in oak wood. On the palate it is elegant with a good balance between ripe tannins and its sweetness, which lends it a persistent and attractive finish.
The Piano Porto Tawny grapes were harvested between the first and second weeks of October. The grapes were destemmed and vinified using the traditional Port Wine method. Fermentation, which transforms the natural sugar in the grapes into alcohol, takes place at controlled temperatures.
