Used to make the the traditional 'Flaming Sausage' dish. Traditional Hand Painted Terracotta chorizo roaster “Assador de Chouriço” is a traditional clay dish, commonly used in Portuguese kitchens for flame grilling chorizo (Portuguese/Spanish - “Chouriço”).

The chorizo is simply placed scored on top of the clay chorizo roaster, then cooked as required (around 2 to 3 minutes each side turning occasionally) by the aguardente or ethanol alcohol fueled flames below. The flame grill gives the chorizo a perfect crispy texture, and wonderful smoked flavor making this dish a simple and fun cooking experience perfect for enjoying in any Kitchen or BBQ.
