TASTING NOTES
A balanced and complex barrel-aged, award-winning English Chardonnay. Fermented and matured for 8 months in 3-year-old French oak barriques with well-integrated, harmonious layers of fruit, spice and minerality. Representing the best Chardonnay from our vineyards in Herefordshire, this wine is drinking perfectly now in it's youth with potential for further ageing.
Lemon gold and a silvery, pearlescent tone in the glass. Complex aromas of preserved lemon, baked Bramley apple, hazelnut cream, and oyster shell minerality. A bright, structured acidity on the palate and a rounded, silky texture reveals juicy citrus and orchard fruit, toasted vanilla spice, and a honeyed nuttiness. A layered and textural length with a clean mineral finish.
