Quinta do Noval Tinto Cão 2023

The Quinta do Noval Tinto Cão 2023 presents a light color, reminiscent of a Pinot Noir, but the nose immediately reveals great intensity and a very pronounced varietal character. Fresh red fruit is clearly expressed, accompanied by notes of oak and a slight chocolatey touch, which provide depth without making the whole heavy. On the palate, the wine is very elegant, fresh and balanced, with well-integrated aromas and high-quality tannins that support the whole with equilibrium. A red wine of personality, very harmonious and with fine expression.

The wine is aged entirely in 225-liter French oak barrels for 11 months, 78% in new barrels and 22% in two-year-old barrels.

Produced from vines planted on the steep terraces of Quinta do Noval, this wine offers refinement and a complex aromatic profile.
