A citrine-yellow colour with greenish tints. A wine of great aromatic intensity with components of pear, pineapple and citrus fruit, floral nuances and mineral notes. On the palate, it is very fresh and well-rounded, once again revealing floral notes. It is a very harmonious, elegant and balanced wine.

The balanced acidity of this mineral and fresh wine, combines perfectly with seafood, white meats, light salads, pastas and snacks like peanuts and toasted almonds.

At Sandomil, in the foothills of Serra da Estrela, the noble white grape varieties Encruzado and Malvasia Fina are cultivated in lower, flatter vineyard areas close to the Alva River.

The vineyards, rooted in fertile granite soils, benefit from a temperate mountain climate that ensures slow and balanced ripening, enhancing the grapes’ aromatic precision, freshness, and elegance. Encruzado, considered the finest white variety of the Dão, provides structure, minerality, and remarkable aging potential, while Malvasia Fina contributes delicate floral aromas, vibrant freshness, and refined balance.
