Saturno Reserva is a full bodied red with ripe tannins, and a luscious rounded mouthfeel.  Packed full of black fruits, herbal nuances and a touch of liquorice and dark chocolate.

Surrounded by the quiet landscape of northern Alentejo, Monte da Cal merges perfectly with the soothing environment of the nature in this part of the country and is rimmed by an infinity of vineyards, cork oak trees, and olive trees, that only disappear far away on the horizon.

Here, the red varieties Trincadeira, Syrah, Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional; and the white varieties Antão Vaz, Viognier, Arinto and Alvarinho are planted. The architecture and décor of the estate reflect the Arabic influences that are deeply present in Alentejo’s culture, along with the estate’s modern cellar where all the wines are produced and aged reflecting the typical Terroir of the Northern Alentejo.

Monte da Cal fully addresses the goal of producing high-quality wines, as well as some great value wines. Monte da Cal Tinto is elegant, fruity and smooth wines but keeping the authenticity of alentejo.
