Fenny Castle is a small wine producer with their own winery they are able to hand-craft their wines with unparalleled care and attention to detail.
Their winery is small but well equipped and uses the best of traditional methods combined with cutting-edge winemaking knowledge they aim to produce wines of exceptional quality and individuality.

Careful selection of only the best grapes together with gentle pressing and cool fermentation they take care to preserve the freshness and intensity of the delicate aromas and flavours at every stage of the winemaking process.

Their winemaker, James Cumming, graduated with distinction from Plumpton College, Europe's leading centre for Wine Studies. He is also qualified to Advanced and Diploma level with the Wines and Spirits Education Trust. 

Their signature still wines are made from the early ripening Ortega variety. This distinctive aromatic wine has been likened to the variety Albariño and is characterised by intense aromas of melon and pear with rich layers of apricot on the palate. Ortega is a difficult variety to grow in every respect but it is worth all the hard work as the wines are superb.
