Bath Rugby x Witchmark Spirited Union Gin

A limited-edition gin created to celebrate Bath Rugby’s historic treble-winning season. Spirited Union brings together Bath Rugby and Witchmark Distillery in a single bottle, uniting local pride with precise, grain-to-glass distilling.

Distilled from single-origin barley grown in the rolling heartland just beyond Bath’s Recreation Ground, this is a classic, juniper-forward gin with a modern edge. Vibrant juniper, bright orange zest and the aromatic warmth of cinnamon and cubeb are balanced by bay leaf and coriander for a savoury, citrus-spiced depth. It is a clean, timeless gin that feels equally at home in a match-day G&T or a quietly perfect martini.

Each bottle carries Bath Rugby’s iconic blue, black and white colours alongside the Witchmark marque, making it as much a keepsake of a treble-winning season as it is a beautifully made gin. Produced in limited quantities, it is a piece of club and distillery history, crafted as a one-off release for this landmark season.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:  Classic piney juniper with an immediate lift of sweet orange, supported by subtle warming spice.

Palate: Clean and crisp, with citrus brightness upfront. Bay leaf brings a gentle, earthy savoury note, layered with the warm spice of cinnamon and cubeb for structure and depth.

Finish: Refreshing and dry, with lingering notes of juniper and coriander that invite another sip. Outstanding in a simple gin and tonic or a martini garnished with an orange twist.
