Captivating from the very first pour, this Bulgarian red is crafted from Marselan—a rare Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache hybrid seldom seen outside France. Upfront, it bursts with blackcurrant, dark plum, smoky undertones, and a touch of caramel. The palate deepens with layers of vanilla, cedar, and cocoa, all framed by expertly integrated oak and a polished, harmonious finish.
Producers like Château Burgozone are redefining modern Bulgarian wine. Situated along the Danube at the same latitude as Tuscany, their vineyards benefit from an exceptional microclimate paired with a strict commitment to sustainable, quality-led winemaking. From elegant, Old World-style reds to crisp, mineral-driven Sauvignon Blancs, Burgozone is an exciting estate actively reshaping expectations.
