Mâcon-Fuissé is notable for its bright yellow-gold hue with green highlights. The nose is very intense with aromas reminiscent of pepper, yellow flowers and mirabelles. The palate shows pronounced ripe fruit flavours, before giving way to a smooth mid-palate with hints of pineapple and plum.
Château Vitallis, located in the Mâconnais region of Burgundy, benefits from a continental climate with warm summers and cool nights, ideal for Chardonnay.
The vineyards are planted on limestone and clay soils, contributing to the wine's minerality.
This Mâcon-Fuissé is fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit character and crisp acidity.
Partial malolactic fermentation adds a touch of creaminess, balancing the vibrant citrus and green apple notes.
The wine is intended to be enjoyed young, offering a clean, refreshing style that pairs well with seafood and light poultry dishes.
