TASTING NOTES

This is a superb example Sicily’s Nerello Mescalese grape, grown on the northern slope of Mount Etna’s mineral rich volcanic soil. The aroma is very fine and delicate with expressive notes of small redcurrant and cherry fruits, wild spices, herbs and cloves. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, well structured, with minerality on the savoury and persistent finish.

This is delicious now and has the potential to age for up to 10 years.

Try with wild mushroom and aubergine filo parcels.
