This is a quintessential South African Bordeaux blend and the flagship wine of Babylonstoren. Made up of 49% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot, 16% cabernet franc, 5% petit verdot, and 5% Malbec

Aromas of white flowers, lime blossom and candied lemon. On the palate, the wine is textured with some exotic fruit such as kumquat and peach.

Aging for 12 months in American and French barrels gives the ageing notes of a great Douro wine. In the mouth it is sweet and enveloping, with very smooth noble tannins, long and warm finish.

Pound for pound winner. Bold, ripe fruits complimented by smoke, cedar and a hint of vanilla. Fine grained smooth tannins make it extremely versatile with food but also make it a corker on its own.

Light, delicate notes of red berry and gooseberry and fruits that remind you of summer pudding and raspberry Eton mess.
