Smeaton’s Gin recreates a hand-written 1870s gin recipe discovered in the historic Bristol Archives on Smeaton Road. Made using specially-sourced base spirit and a selection of eight botanicals – juniper, angelica, calamus, cinnamon, coriander, liquorice, orange and orris. Each one is distilled separately when it’s fresh, then blended to create the final gin.
