TASTING NOTES

This is the first Rosé wine produced by Sangue Real. The vineyards are located close to the Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida, about 5 km as the crow flies from the Atlantic Ocean with the Arrábida mountains between the vineyard & the ocean, decreasing a little the strong maritime influence, allowing optimal maturation conditions. This wine is produced with the Moscatel Graudo & Merlot grape varieties from 4 years old vines, the grapes were selected and harvested by hand, with a productivity of 6 tons/ hectares.

The resulting wine has golden pink colour & aroma mainly of yellow fruits such as melon & orange blossom. In the mouth, this wine has balanced acidity, initially some sweetness but dry aftertaste. It is an excellence appetizer and perfectly accompanies starters, melon, salads and fish. Oenology by Ricardo Santos.
