TASTING NOTES
Calvet wine production is strictly regulated. Blending and aging is only carried out in the area where the company is located. The wine ages in French oak barrels for no less than 6 months. Usually the process takes about a year and is followed by several months of maturation in bottles. While blending and aging the wine is sampled 7 to 11 times.
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. The bouquet is rich and complex flavors of bitter cherry, cinnamon and “Earthy”. Full-bodied, well balanced, with a long persistence with round tannins. It is an elegant wine with a spicy finish.
