Marfil Alella SuperMarfil
TASTING NOTES
Wine produced at Alella VinÃcola in the middle of the 20th century, which stopped producing at the end of the 60s. Very few bottles are bottled annually to guarantee quality, exceptionality and the ideal aging of the wine. Dark golden colour. Complex, ripe and intense nose of dried fruits, still with some floral nuances and grapes.  The palate is poured with a fine nutty intensity and plenty of flavor, with a long and complex finish.
Extraordinary as an aperitif, ideal to accompany soups, consommés, white meats, blue fish, aged cheeses, game and red meats. It also adapts well to oriental cuisine.  The ideal serving temperature is around 12ºC.
Alella VinÃcola is the winery that has made Alella famous since 1906 through its wines, promoting the creation of the Alella Denomination of Origin during the 1950s. We currently produce, elaborate and bottle wines and cavas under two Denominations of Origin: D.O. ALELLA and D.O. DIG. Most of the vineyards and the winery are located in the center of the town of Alella, in the heart of the Denomination of Origin, 15 kilometers north of Barcelona. The Mediterranean climate and the geological character make up our wines.
The grapes come from our own vineyards where we work in an ecological way (no herbicides, no insecticides, no inorganic fertilizers). In the winery, work is done with minimal intervention and with minimal doses of sulphur, and responsible persons who ensure the correct evolution of the wine and the food safety of the consumers.
