TASTING NOTES
Harvested from a number of famous sites across Burgundy including Saint Aubin, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, the Secrete de Famille represents excellent value for money.
Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot's vineyards now encompass six estates that cover Burgundy from north to south. Working together with their grower partners, they practise sustainable viticulture with a commitment to converting fully to organic viticulture in the Côte d'Or.
Half of the wine undergoes aging in oak barrels, 20% of which are new, the remaining half is aged in stainless steel tanks for a total of between eight and twelve months.
The nose is dominated by hints of citrus and white flowers, evolving notes of honey and dried fruits. The palate is finely balanced, skilfully blending vivacity and roundness.
