TASTING NOTES
The grapes come from predominantly north-facing parcels at 500m, with the riper component sourced from lower south-west-facing Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo vineyards on schist at 250m. Sixty-years-old or more, these field blend parcels major on Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Carvalha, Tinta Francisca and Sousão - grapes known for their fresh, aromatic profile. Hand-picked, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and, following a two-day cold soak, fermented with native yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
