TASTING NOTES
Citrussy Sauvignon Blanc from Péter Benedek's namesake family winery. Grown in the white wine haven of Mátra in northern Hungary, just west of Eger, the vineyards are shaded from wind by the mountains and acidity is preserved thanks to free-draining volcanic soils. Expect earthy notes like smoke and flint over a fruit salad of green apple, grapefruit and green melon. Pairs great with chicken and lemon skewers, slow-cooked turkey casserole, herby pork fillet with roast vegetables, baked ricotta, or calamari.
