Rio Del Rey Rioja Reserva 2018

A nose of blackberry and cedar greats your nose on pouring the wine. On the palate there are hints of deep black fruits and sweet spices such as nutmeg and mace dominate this full bodied Reserva. A rounded mouthfeel with a smooth vanilla tannin leads to a satisfying length. This wine can stand up to bigger meat dishes like seared steaks, chorizo stews and pulled pork.

Also perfect with hard cheeses such as Manchego Rio del Rey is a collection of Rioja wines inspired by Spain's ancient and beautiful river Ebro, The "King of Rivers". Rioja is famous for expertly blending the best fruit from across its regions. The grapes for Rio del Rey are specially selected from La Rioja Alta and La Rioja Alavesa. The wines are produced for modern tastes, whilst keeping true to the heritage of Rioja.
