TASTING NOTES
Husband and wife team, wonderfully - though confusingly - called Francesco and Francesca, run the estate in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico zone, in Marano, with a total production of 70,000 bottles. Great care is taken in the vines, and the vineyards look a little bit more like gardens. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The selection of grapes for the Amarone come from vines planted 30-40 years ago using the region's old Pergola Veronese system. Aged for two years in small oak barrels.
Ruby red wine with an intense bouquet of cherries and preserved morello cherries in alcohol, with a robust body and a particularly well-balanced flavour.
