Casa Ermelinda Freitas Fat Baron Premium Red Blend 2022

Red so intense it's almost black. Concentrated and powerful nose. The aromas are smoked blackberry and raspberry wrapped in spicy vanilla and coconut. In the mouth, ripe plums, red berries and black fruits stuffed in the mouth against a background of dark chocolate, toast and oak spices. Velvety, voluptuous and impressively juicy.

The grapes are harvested during the less hot periods of the day, arriving at the winery fresh and intact. Then, they are chosen and distributed according to the characteristics that the oenology team wants for the batch to be produced. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats after long skin maceration. At the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred to French and American oak barrels, where it stays for at least 4 months, ensuring the development of some complexity, without ever losing its varietal aromas.

It goes well with red meats, sausages, roast pork with chestnuts.
