In 2011, Rui Reboredo Madeira returns to the same Winery where he carried out his first harvest in 1987. Located in the small village of Vermiosa, in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, among the highest vineyards in Portugal, his wines from Beira Interior are vinified and aged .

The Beyra wine brand was then born, marked by excellence and the pioneering concept of “Altitude Wines”.

In one of the most remote areas of the Iberian Peninsula, in the border area between the Douro Superior and Beira Alta, it was in his family that Rui Roboredo Madeira’s passion was born, for the aromas and smells of the land that shape his character. After years of experience and experiences in other parts of the world, Rui brings back what he has learned to the origins, starting his personal wine production project, always with the utmost respect for nature.
