TASTING NOTES
This Harslevelu was hand-selected from a single parcel of vines in the foothills of the Mátra mountains in northern Hungary, just west of Eger. The old vines are shaded from the winds by the mountains and deep-rooted into the volcanic soils below, offering plenty of freshness and minerality. Matured in barrel, the white wine from third generation winemaker Péter Benedek is layered with fresh apricots, honey apple, pear and ripe pink grapefruit. Tasting superb right now, this is outstandingly good value for money.
